Nog een eeuwigheid voor HairMultiplication

Je moet weten... als je enige hoop HM is, dan is dit niet echt plezant om zoiets te ontdekken!

Euh....waarom zou ik dit sarcastisch bedoelen!?
'T is echt een vraag... Misschien dat jij weet waarom het zolang duurt en dat er bij Gho. helemaal niets meer over HM word gesproken op hun site.

Nou, ik dacht dat ik een domme opmerking gemaakt had en dat je het daardoor sarcastisch bedoelde ... ;)

Het enige wat ik weet over Gho is dat de techniek reeds bestaat, maar dat het nog niet bij iedereen toepasbaar is. Men zou het pas willen commercialiseren op het moment dat het echt voor iedereen lukt! Op hun vorige site zei men dat ze nog steeds met onderzoeken bezig waren, maar nu lijkt het alsof ze er totaal niet meer mee bezig zijn! Jammer :(

What To Expect

The event will last about 1.5 to 2 hours. Dr. Gho will conduct several presentations. This first presentation will be focused on the scientific background of Follicle Transplantation and their results. This will take about 1 hour. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. Attendees will also be presented with the opportunity to interact with actual patients of Follicle Transplantation and examine the results in person. The second presentation will be focused on the scientific background of HAIRmultiplication. No patient results or confidential information will be disclosed during the HAIRmultiplication presentation. The "Meet & Greet" session is NOT intended to be a venue for hair transplant consultation with Dr. Gho. No consultation will be given to the attendees at this event. Individuals are advised to use HairSite's online consultation service or to contact GHO Clinic directly for the purpose of a hair transplant consultation.

Follicle Transplantation

In Dr. Gho's own words: "Follicle Transplantation is a pre-study of HAIRmultiplication. The goal was to identify what part of the hair follicle is responsible for hair growth". With this study, GHO Clinic discovered that hair transplantation can actually be accomplished less invasively without having to extract the entire hair follicle in the donor area. With Follicle Transplantation, the goal is to extract the donor follicles in such a way that will allow the harvested follicles to regenerate in the donor site. Theoretically, Follicle Transplantation can also be described as a form of hair multiplication and if the procedure is done properly, it may address the issue of donor follicles depletion associated with traditional hair transplantation techniques. Dr. Gho's Follicle Transplantation technique also falls under the broad category of Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE, a most sought after alternative to traditional hair transplantation procedures nowadays. Presently, Dr. Gho is among one of the three hair transplant doctors in the world who performs FUE exclusively on his patients. FUE does not leave a linear scar on the patient's scalp and is many times less invasive than traditional hair transplantation procedures with a minimal of complications in patients. Registration

Seating is LIMITED. Registration is mandatory. A photo ID is required for admission. There will be no last minute registration at the venue. Waarom werkt het niet bij iedereen?
Geen idee, heb het ook maar ergens gelezen... maar dat zou de reden (of één van de redenen) zijn waarom het nog niet beschikbaar is!

Ben ik daar van op de hoogte?
Ja, ik had het ook zien staan - ik kijk dan ook volop uit naar het verslag dat (waarschijnlijk) zal geplaatst worden op HairSite. Vrees er alleen maar voor dat men over HM niet veel zal zeggen...

HEt duurt nog jaren voordat dit commercieel wordt. DE littekenloze ht is voor bepaalde mensen interessant: Er zal altijd een keuze moeten worden gemaakt:

Dit heeft te maken met wat je wil. Als je je haar echt kort wil houden dan moet je kiezen voor de littekenloze ongreep, die zeer arbeidsintensief is en veel geld kost. Gho haalt 300-350 grafts per dag, anderen meer. Echter, als je je kop kaal scheert zul je ook littekens zien. Vooral bij meerder ingrepen. Als je je haar gewoon kort wil houden blijft de haartransplantatie met litteken de beste oplossing, maar wel dmv de nieuwste techniek de oplossing.
Er zal dus een keuze kunnen worden gemaakt, dit zal op korte termijn bij transhair ook het geval zijn, daar de littekenloze ht al jaren bestaat. Alleen waren de punches toen groter.

Op hairsite stond dat David (van hairsite) telefonisch contact had gehad met Dr. Gho, en daarin had Dr Gho gezegd dat hairmultiplication tenminste op zijn laatst in 2006 op de markt zou zijn.
Dus volgens Gho nog hooguit drie jaar. Maar mocht het inderdaad op de markt komen dan zal het volgens mij in ieder geval de eerste jaren enorm prijzig zijn.
