I had my 1st procedure (strip method) in 1990. Now I've 3 (actually 4) scars on the back of my head, and just about 300-400 (micro-mini-)grafts grow in the recipient side (from ~1300 total).
So you have to imagine a typical NW5 guy, with about 300-400 grafts on his ("bald") NW5 head.
The right side shows my current situation and shape of my (typical) NW-5 hair loss. The crown has a diameter of 8.5 cm. The most hair I lost between 30 - 35, and the hairs in the crown (6) thereafter and the hairs there are just miniaturized.
