MMOGDP isn't the very first game

MMOGDP isn't the very first game in the Maple story M Mesos series to have an RPG leveling platform -- Origins had a similar setup last year -- but it is incredibly important in MMOGDP. How significant? If you do not actively seek out ways to earn experience points, you'll fall far behind and have a very hard, if not impossible, time finishing the story. So, in the spirit of assisting you through the grind, we have assembled a leveling guide that should hopefully remove some of your difficult times in Ancient Greece.

If you start your map, you will see that each land mass has a level recommendation. The lowest level areas, where you begin, are below ten, even though a few areas go up to the mid-40s and even 50. Remember that although the loot is much better in tougher areas, you're not likely to survive for long if you go exploring while seriously under-leveled. Including sailing your boat near high-level areas, as enemy ships will mirror the degree of enemies .

In our MMOGDP review we emphasized that you won't be able to sustain development from only completing story missions, particularly as you get deeper into the game. On multiple occasions, you will find four-plus level jumps between story missions. This means that you won't be able to snap through MMOGDP. We advocate keeping up with the required level of the missions if none or two higher. Keep in mind that some mainline missions see a gain in level if you pass the original amount. That is OK, though, since this doesn't affect future assignment recommended levels.

If you're looking for a way to accelerate while still experiencing some fairly intriguing content, committed side quests are a good alternative. Side quests are indicated on the map together with exclamation points. All of them have a story element to them and some mmogdp of them even result in unlocking new mainline missions (bizarre, right?) Or additional side quests. Many of these side quests unlock as you complete story missions in precisely the same location. Most of all, side quests dole out as much and sometimes more experience than story missions. Basically, completing side quests is equally as important as story quests throughout the grind.
