De functies van DHT

Ik vraag mij af hoe DHT nu precies voor haaruitval zorgt. Ok het hecht zich aan de haarzakjes...en dan? Dit zegt in principe nog niks. Weet iemand dit?

DHT stands for Dihydrotestosterone which is the resulting product of direct contact between the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, found in the skin and the scalp, with the hormone testosterone.

DHT hair loss is caused by the DHT binding to receptor sites on the scalp and hair follicles which interrupts and interacts with the normal chain of events involved in continual healthy hair growth.

To put it another way, DHT hair loss happens when DHT takes over the receptor cell (the cells on the hair follicle that bind to DHT) and sends false signals to the functioning cells responsible for proper hair growth.

Men usually lose hair first in the temporal area, second in the crown, and third, in the vertex or top of the scalp. This is due to the concentration of sweat glands that carry DHT in these areas.

In the course of the study, Lion researchers believe they discovered that a peroxide compound (consisting of oxidized sebum) causes the death of hair follicles and leads to baldness. Company scientists also discovered that a combination of beta-glycyrrhetinate (an anti-inflammatory) and piroctone olamine (an anti-oxidant) help prevent the death of hair follicles and can stop further hair loss.

Tsjah. Wat moet ik hiervan denken? Eerst zeggen de wetenschappers van dat DHT gewoon weg kan uit je lichaam. Het kan geen kwaad en nu weer wel. Vandaar dat meeste wetenschappelijke artikelen en bronnen mij in het krijt staan.

The ongoing search for explanations as to why elderly males heal acute skin wounds more slowly than do their female counterparts (and are more strongly disposed to conditions of chronic ulceration) has identified endogenous oestrogens and androgens as being respectively enhancers and inhibitors of repair. We previously demonstrated that blocking the conversion of testosterone to 5alpha-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) limits its ability to impair healing, suggesting that DHT is a more potent inhibitor of repair than is testosterone. The present study aimed to delineate the central mechanisms by which androgens delay repair. Whilst the contractile properties of neither rat wounds in vivo nor fibroblast-impregnated collagenous discs in vitro appeared to be influenced by androgen manipulations, the global blockade of DHT biosynthesis markedly accelerated re-epithelialization of incisional and excisional wounds and reduced local expression of beta-catenin, a key inhibitor of repair. Moreover, DHT retarded the in vitro migration of epidermal keratinocytes following scratch wounding. By contrast, it failed to influence the migratory and proliferative properties of dermal fibroblasts, suggesting that its primary inhibitory effect is upon re-epithelialization. These novel findings may be of particular significance in the context of chronic ulceration, for which being male is a key risk factor.

dht heeft zeker een rol in ons lichaam hoor...

- in de hersenen bevordert het de concentratievermogen , hou je dus slimmer

- bij schade aan je lichaam/spieren zorgt het voor beter herstel

- zelfs in onze sexdrive heeft het een rol , langer en harder met dht... eveneens sneller hersteld

bodybuilders hebben zoveel mogelijk dht nodig voor goede resultaten/prestaties...

probleem is dat fina/duta haaruitval ook meer tegenhoud, niet volledig maar er staat toch een rem op... dus hierbij moet je dht afremmen ,tenzij je kaal wil worden... mensen dat accepteren die zijn de dapperste onder ons

dusja eigentlijk is het kiezen....

ik kan eerlijk zeggen dat duta mij dommer maakt hoor... voel je goed
concentratie word minder, je hebt ook iets minder energie, sexdrive daalt ook , maar men koppie word niet kaal , blijft stabiel , dusja doorslikken zodat ik het kan behouden tot er een middel uitkomt dat de receptoren
afbreekt, en dan duta de vuilbak in ...

er zitten hier mensen dat totaal tegen fina en duta zijn, maar voor je de mensen dit probeert af te raden, licht ze dan ook in dat ze zonder gewoon blijven verder kaal worden, bio middelen hebben maar zwakke resultaten, meesten veteranen onder ons weten dat wel... eveneens doet iedereen wat hij wil natuurlijk , maar sprookjes bestaan niet hoor...
