Hoi Henk,
Ik zal hier graag mijn mening geven, maar zoals je weet is dit voor mij delicaat omdat ik door sommige hier als poster boy of marketeer zal worden bestempeld.
Daarom ga ik hier een post copieren die een poster vandaag op een amerikaanse site heeft gepost. De post is zeer duidelijk en ik geloof dat er veel waarheid achter schuilt. (poster is Tomomasta op hairloss help en heeft zelf FUE laten doen met een 1 mm punch, ik heb geen enkele rechstreekse of onrechtstreekse verbinding met hem)

"Im tired of hearing about this already..Listen, a 1mm punch is a tad bit too large IMO for a person who wants to shave to the bone.. It will leave tiny poke marks that one can see very close up... A smaller punch leaves a space, not a white dot like a 1mm punch leaves... Botom line though is that you have to look close to see the white dots... This is NOT like strip where you would be able to see the scar from 6 blocks away... The photos i see here are from a very close up shot, who in the HELL is going to look at your head from this close unless they were looking for a transplant... Bottom line again, FUE(RECENT) SCARS ARE ABSOLUTEY NON COMPARABLE TO STRIP SCARS IN EVERY CASE, AND ANY DOC TELLING YOU DIFFERENT IS EIGHTER SELLING ONLY STRIP, OR TOO DAMN LAZY TO LEARN FUE...I shave my head with a bic and NOONE has ever mentioned what they see from a normal person type contact... We as people learning about transplants have a good eye and look for these things, normal everyday people are not looking at your head from 5 inches away...I would take 1mm punch transplant over a strip transplant any day of the week and twice on sunday as long as the recipient ends up the same... BTW, a 1mm punch scars will NOT show up with a 1 guard, only with a bone shaved head... A 1 guard will show up with any strip on this planet , including Hasson and Wong, etc...I only stress docs to use smaller punches for us guys who bic shave there head "
