Specialised Doctor and clinic in Amsterdam or region

Hoi allemaal!

Could anyone please recommend a clinic where I can have consultation with specialised dermatologist and treatments in Amsterdam or close by region? My GP said I can pick any dermatologist so she can refer or she will refer me to some hair specialised dermatologist at the VU. I imagine there must be very good and specialised clinics in Amsterdam better than just going to the VU. What are your thoughts?

At the VU I believe there is a chance I will get an appointment with a young physician without many years of experience. Am I wrong?

what exactly is your problem then? does it require a specialist? AGA in itself is so very common and easy to diagnose based on family history, etc. it hardly requires an expert in the first place.

AGA is my problem. I was diagnosed with it a long time ago. I used to undergo special treatments in my home country (Brazil) in specialized clinics and it really helped. That's why I would like recommendations of the best places here.

ok, assuming you're not talking about FUE or something, i'm really curious what those special treatments were.. here in the netherlands you just get things prescribed (finasteride, minoxidil, etc) and you pick them up in the pharmacy. i don't believe i've ever heard of a Dutch clinic that gives you any sort of recurring treatment whatsoever, and it's difficult to envisage something like that that's scientifically proven to work. Good luck, but I'm pretty sure what you're looking for doesn't exist over here.
