I think Stevie means it's wrong to read from the webmaster that Geer is a living commercial but at the same time its not wrong to bump '5' topics about how great this place actually is and that advertising pays off.

Not to mention, what if Gho was a sponsor here ? Imagine if Geer was talking like this about...lets say Prohair (who is a spondor here). Would Geer still be a living commercial according to the webmaster ?

Dont blame me, I just try to understand what Stevie is thinking.
Hello Lucky,

There's no reason to blame anybody : it is good to share our viewpoints with each other. So thanks for letting me/us know what you think.

Yes, advertising pays off. On RTL Boulevard for example. And, according to testimonials by our advertisers, also on HaarWeb. I fail to see why it should be 'wrong' to mention that a well known public figure appears to be/act as a 'living commercial' (which he does a pretty good job at!) and at the same time mention the benefits of placing a commercial on HaarWeb. I don't see the relation?

Like every other hairspecialist/clinic, HASCI is welcome to advertise on HaarWeb (although I have the impression mr. Joling's doing an excellent job in that area already ). Mind you: being a sponsor is something completely different. We will never have any commercial hairspecialist/clinic sponsor us. HaarWeb is a 100% objective and independent platform/foundation and we will make sure that we never get ourselves into the situation where commercial sponsors want to have/demand influence on our work. We know there are 'hairloss' websites out there (also in The Netherlands) that find themselves exactly in that kind of situation and they even claim to be independent. No, I will not mention names because that would be highly unprofessional and probably I already shared too much of my personal opinion/viewpoint on things. Next to that: pointing towards others doesn't bring much, does it? We need to focus on ourselves and stick to our own values.

And yes, if mr. Geer Joling was promoting any other clinic or any other product like that, he would still appear to be a 'living commercial' (because he is, isn't he, when it comes to his battle against hairloss?) from my (personal) perspective. I state it again: it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the clinic or product: I am talking about mr. Joling himself, nothing more and nothing less.
